This Privacy Policy applies to all products, platforms, and services operated by mykoneINC ("we", "us", "our"), a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada, including but not limited to the AncientWord Bible application, the mykoneBIZZ business management platform, and associated websites including mykoneinc.com and theancientword.com.

By using any mykoneINC product or service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information you provide directly to us through our applications and platforms. We do not collect data passively beyond what is necessary for the operation of our services.

Information you provide directly:

• Account registration details (email address, name, and chosen password)
• Business information entered into mykoneBIZZ (business name, location data, sales figures, staff records)
• Content you create within our apps (study notes, highlights, and annotations in AncientWord)
• Communications you send to us directly via email or support channels

Information collected automatically:

• Basic usage analytics necessary to maintain service reliability (error logs, crash reports)
• Device type and operating system version (for compatibility purposes only)

We do not collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for your use of our services. We do not build advertising profiles or engage in behavioural tracking.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect exclusively to:

• Create and manage your account
• Deliver the features and functionality of our applications
• Send transactional communications (account activation, password reset, service notifications)
• Provide customer support
• Improve the reliability and performance of our services
• Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your information for advertising purposes, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

3. Meta Platform Integration (mykoneBIZZ)

mykoneBIZZ includes optional integrations with the Meta platform (Facebook and Instagram) through the Meta Graph API. This section describes how those integrations work and how user data is handled.

AutoPost Module

The AutoPost module allows authenticated mykoneBIZZ users to connect their Facebook Pages and Instagram Business accounts to the platform via OAuth. Once connected, users may schedule and publish posts to their connected social media accounts directly from within mykoneBIZZ.

• Connection is established via Meta's official OAuth authorization flow — we never ask for or store your Meta password
• We request only the permissions necessary to post content on your behalf to Pages and Business accounts you own or administer
• Access tokens are stored securely and used solely to perform actions you explicitly authorize within the app
• You may revoke access at any time through Meta's app permissions settings or from within mykoneBIZZ

AutoThanks Module

The AutoThanks module allows users to configure automated direct messages sent to new followers on their connected Instagram Business accounts. These messages are sent via the Meta Graph API on behalf of the authenticated user.

• Messages are sent only from accounts you own and have explicitly connected
• Message content is configured entirely by you — we do not generate or modify message content
• This feature operates in compliance with Meta's Platform Terms and Messaging policies

Data from Meta integrations:

• We do not store data about your followers, post engagement, or audience demographics from Meta
• We store only the access tokens required to perform authorized actions and basic account identifiers (Page ID, Instagram Account ID) needed to route requests correctly
• Data obtained through the Meta Graph API is not used for any purpose beyond delivering the features you have enabled

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.

We may share limited information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our infrastructure (such as hosting providers). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or lawful government request.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers operated by mykoneINC on DigitalOcean infrastructure located in data centres that adhere to industry-standard security practices. We use encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and apply appropriate access controls to protect your data at rest.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you of any breach that materially affects your data as required by applicable law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at mykone@mykoneinc.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Under GDPR (European users):

• Right to access, correct, or delete your personal data
• Right to restrict or object to processing
• Right to data portability
• Right to withdraw consent at any time

Under PIPEDA (Canadian users):

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify users via in-app notification or email where required by law. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
