Terms of Service.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of all products, platforms, and services operated by mykoneINC ("we", "us", "our"), including the AncientWord Bible application, the mykoneBIZZ business management platform, and associated websites. By using any mykoneINC product or service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our services (or 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable minimum age). By using our services, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using our services on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at mykone@mykoneinc.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or are inactive for an extended period.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit spam, unauthorized advertising, or malicious code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the operation of our services
• Use automated means to access our services in a manner that exceeds normal usage

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of our products require a paid subscription. Subscription plans, pricing, and billing cycles are described within each respective application.

• Payments are processed through the applicable app platform (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) or through our designated payment processor
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Refunds are subject to the policies of the platform through which you subscribed
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable advance notice to existing subscribers

5. Third-Party Integrations

Some of our services integrate with third-party platforms, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Your use of those integrations is also subject to the terms and policies of the respective third-party platforms. mykoneINC is not responsible for the actions, content, or policies of third-party services.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, designs, logos, and trademarks associated with mykoneINC and its products are the property of mykoneINC or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our applications for their intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of our software or content without explicit written permission.

Content you create within our applications (such as study notes in AncientWord or business records in mykoneBIZZ) remains yours. By storing that content on our platform, you grant us a limited licence to host and transmit it solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities. Use of our services is at your own risk.

AncientWord is a Bible study tool and is not intended to provide theological, legal, medical, or professional advice of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, mykoneINC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising from use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using our services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other legitimate business reason with reasonable notice where practicable. Upon termination, provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of our services after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
